Assessment Process

Under 6 years

  • ADOS-2 (Toddler, Module 1 or 2)
  • Vineland-3 Parent/Caregiver Form
  • Parent diagnostic interview (ADI-R) — in person or Zoom
  • Review of psychology, speech, school, community and medical reports
  • Integration meeting with family

School-age (6–19 years)

  • ADOS-2 (Modules 2–4)
  • Vineland-3 Parent/Caregiver Form
  • Parent diagnostic interview (ADI-R)
  • Review of school, community, medical documentation
  • Integration meeting with family

About Dr. Jill Houbé

Dr. Jill Houbé is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She is a Founder of the Developmental Pediatrics specialty within the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a member of the examination board for RCPSC Developmental Pediatrics. She is also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics as a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician and holds an appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Houbé has extensive expertise in assessing complex developmental and behavioral conditions. She brings a collaborative and practical approach to her work, focusing on clarifying diagnoses, highlighting both strengths and areas of need, and providing actionable recommendations to support children and families across home, school, and community settings.
